How quickly childhood goes by! Photographs are a simple way of making time stop and helping our hearts and minds remember what the years have taken away. You have made a wonderful decision to preserve your family’s heritage through pictures!

I am excited and thrilled to be working with you!  I will tell you exactly how I operate and hopefully answer any questions you have about the photo session. 

I have a passion for working with children and families plus giving you a product that you are thrilled with! My goal each session is to capture genuine personalities and honest relationships, to tell your story. I focus on creating opportunities for these kinds of moments but also establishing a wonderful experience in the process! 

My style is very natural. I like working on location in your home or favorite scenic spot. I am a natural light photographer. I enjoy working with natural light because I love the way it can illuminate something beautiful and magical on a subject. With that being said, outside light is what I prefer.

What to Expect:

My style of shooting is very relaxed and fun. I try to let the photo session be free of rules. I enjoy playing with your children in order to see their personalities come to life! I have found that children behave much better and are more themselves if you tell them they are coming to play and have pictures taken. 

For most children, taking pictures is not a preferred task. In that case, bringing some toys, snacks, or “bribery” treats, is always a good idea.  We will take as many breaks as needed to keep your child happy. 

My sessions usually run anywhere from 1-2 hours, depending on the number of people and the combinations you desire. 

Besides giving you beautiful images, my goal is to capture  what you want. Please let me know if you have anything in mind prior to the session. 

There are several ways of contacting me to set up a session-through the website, email or calling. I take into account your schedule and we'll work together on the best options for setting up a time and day, while still getting that good morning and evening light.

Pricing:

Families and Newborns:

A mini session(30 minutes) is $350

A full session(1 hour) is $400

Multiple Family Shoot:

The session sitting fee is $400

Senior Session:

Up to 2 hours-$450

Clients will receive all images in a high resolution password protected proof gallery. This will house all the images as well as providing printing services if you choose. I highly recommend using a professional lab. 
I cannot stress this enough! Knoxville has three great options:
F32, Fleetwood Photo and Thompson Photo. It is worth a little extra money to get a MUCH better quality.

Turn around time is usually 7-10 days from the time of your session.

What to Wear:

The big question! I know figuring out clothing and getting your family ready for pictures is stressful.

First, decide on that portrait style you wish to capture:

Fun and contemporary or clean and classic. 
Bright colors or gentle pastels? It’s your call. 

Sometimes it’s helpful if you pick one piece of clothing you like and pull the colors from that.  Remember- coordinate, not match. 
Think layers, lots of texture and pops of color!
